Caspy Commodity Exchange JSC Releases Its First Sustainability Report<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

Caspy Commodity Exchange JSC announces that on October 15, 2024, the Board of Directors approved its first Sustainability Report for 2023.<\/p>\n\n

The 2023 Sustainability Report of Caspy Commodity Exchange JSC is addressed to various stakeholders to inform them about the goals, results, and prospects of the Exchange\u2019s activities in the sustainability area.<\/p>\n\n

The Report has been prepared in accordance with standards and recommendations of Standards of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), recommendations of the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD), rules for disclosure of information by initiators of securities admission, approved by Kazakhstan Stock Exchange JSC on March 10, 2021.<\/p>\n\n

The Report discloses information on activities in the sustainability area within the framework of achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals. In addition, other information and data that are significant for stakeholders and the business of the Exchange are disclosed.<\/p>\n\n

Commenting on the report, Erik Tanayev, President of Caspy Commodity Exchange JSC,<\/p>\n\n

\u201cAs one of the largest and most innovative commodity exchanges in the Republic of Kazakhstan and Central Asia, we consider transparent business conduct as a priority. Non- financial reporting, issued annually, will become a key tool for practical interaction between the Exchange and stakeholders and an important element of the ongoing corporate ESG transformation in this context. The Report reflects the focus of our corporate philosophy on the proper consideration of social and environmental factors, as well as the high efficiency of corporate governance. In the Report, we tried to demonstrate to you the most important corporate ESG events and processes for 2023. The Exchange\u2019s management supports the strategic need to take into account the UN Sustainable Development Goals in planning and decision-making. Currently, we are the first commodity exchange in Central Asia to prepare an annual sustainability report in line with leading practices and standards. Being a transparent and responsible company is our strategic priority, and we are pleased to present our inaugural sustainability report.”<\/p>\n\n
